About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as the Head of Legal EMEA. As the head of our legal department in the EMEA region, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our business operations and ensuring that all legal requirements are met.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive legal strategy for the EMEA region, ensuring that all legal requirements are met and that the company's interests are protected.
- Provide legal guidance to senior management and other stakeholders on all aspects of legal compliance, including employment law, data protection, and competition law.
- Manage and coordinate the work of external counsel, including the management of litigation and dispute resolution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and other business partners.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the EMEA region and ensure that the company's policies and procedures are compliant.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced legal professional who has a deep understanding of the legal requirements in the EMEA region. You should have a strong track record of providing legal guidance and support to business operations, and be able to develop and implement a comprehensive legal strategy.
Requirements
- University degree in law or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in providing legal support to business operations in the EMEA region.
- Strong knowledge of the legal requirements in the EMEA region, including employment law, data protection, and competition law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the EMEA region.
