About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our legal team at SonarSource. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations, including document and knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the legal team's operations, including document and knowledge management, to ensure seamless execution of our business activities.
  • Review, edit, complete, and fact-check various types of legal and financial documents and agreements, maintaining confidentiality as required.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, purchasing, finance, and IT security teams, to drive business objectives forward.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with special projects as needed, leveraging your expertise to drive results.
  • Be a proactive and flexible team player, willing to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant working experience in a similar legal position, with prior in-house experience with an international company being a plus.
  • Swiss legal qualification with strong knowledge of key Swiss laws, such as the Federal Act on Data Protection, is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in law or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate occasional calls outside of your regular time zone, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, LinkSquares, and/or ServiceNow is an asset, but not required.
