Job Summary
As a key member of the legal team, you will be responsible for monitoring relevant Swiss and EU laws and regulations related to ESG compliance. You will ensure that all business components manage legal risks effectively and develop and implement ESG-related policies and procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in creating transparency guidelines for ESG matters and addressing promotional and product claim issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze Swiss and EU laws and regulations related to ESG compliance.
- Develop and implement ESG-related policies and procedures.
- Support the Group Sustainability team in creating transparency guidelines for ESG matters.
- Provide legal assistance for non-financial reporting obligations.
- Educate stakeholders on legal and regulatory aspects of our sustainability strategy.
- Prepare reports for governance committees related to ESG compliance and strategy implementation.
Requirements
- Academic qualifications in business, law, or ESG/human rights disciplines.
- Previous experience in Switzerland or already based in Switzerland.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably in-house or supporting international clients on ESG matters.
- Previous experience in the retail or luxury industry, a strong advantage.
- Bilingual in French and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
