Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Reporting Specialist to join our global headquarters in Basel. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the formulation of our Group's sustainability reporting strategy and ensure compliance with the EU CSRD directive and other applicable reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Sustainability Reporting Strategy: Contribute to the creation of the ESG Report and ensure that it meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Ensure Compliance with Reporting Standards: Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary data for sustainability and ESG reports, and ensure that all reports are compliant with the EU CSRD directive and other applicable reporting standards.
- Coordinate Data Collection and Reporting: Develop and implement efficient data collection, consolidation, and controlling systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicate Reporting Requirements and Progress: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to communicate reporting requirements and progress, and facilitate the link between finance and relevant departments.
- Provide Recommendations and Best Practices: Provide recommendations and implement best practices to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy, and ensure that our sustainability reporting is aligned with industry best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree: A degree in finance, economics, accounting, sustainability, or a related field is required.
- Strong Understanding of Business Contexts: A strong understanding of business contexts, a high affinity for numbers, and a proactive and structured way of working are essential.
- Experience in Sustainability and ESG Reporting: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sustainability and ESG reporting, corporate social responsibility, or a related field is required.
- Proven Experience with Sustainability Reporting Frameworks: Proven experience with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards is essential.
- Project Management and Excel Skills: Experience in project management and good command of Excel and MS Office tools are required.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English is required, and any further language skills are welcome.
