As a Strategic Technical Project Manager at PXL Vision, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of eID and identity verification solutions for companies. Based on artificial intelligence, our highly flexible, modular, and configurable software platform offers secure and fully automated identity verification to meet complex requirements worldwide.

We are looking for an exceptional technical project manager who can combine their expertise in iOS and Android development with strong project management skills. You will be responsible for coordinating backend installations on client premises, supporting documentation, and collaborating with remote and internal teams. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in orchestrating and guiding the implementation of effective solutions.

About this Role
  1. Develop and execute project plans that ensure timely and within-scope delivery of projects with development teams.
  2. Cultivate strong relationships with internal resources and third-party vendors to facilitate seamless project execution.
  3. Monitor and track project progress, reporting key milestones and updates to stakeholders through clear and concise communication.
  4. Provide onsite technical integration support for mobile (iOS, Android) and backend systems (Java, NodeJS) during project setups.
  5. Author and review technical project documentation, including user guides, architecture diagrams, and operational manuals.
  6. Oversee the orchestration and secure deployment of backend systems installed on client premises.
  7. Maintain customer satisfaction while ensuring project deliverables and standards are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or minimum 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • Proficiency in mobile application development (Swift / Objective-C, Java) and backend development (Java, NodeJS / TypeScript).
  • Strong knowledge of container orchestration deployments and secure infrastructure.
  • Minimum 3 years' management experience in IT as a Technical Project Manager, including development work and customer interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • A responsible team player who is proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of taking ownership.
