Main Responsibilities

As a key member of the Burckhardt Compression AG team, you will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting the gross profit of the Systems Division. This involves close cooperation with the Contracting Organization to ensure accurate and timely financial data.

Key Tasks
  • Project Controlling: Analyze revenues and margins of projects, including late costs, provisions, and foreign exchange effects.
  • Monthly Closing Activities: Ensure accurate and timely financial data, including accruals, provisions, and analysis of foreign exchange effects.
  • Forecasting: Develop and upload forecasts in the consolidation tool Cognos.
  • Participation in Project Performance Review Meetings: Collaborate with stakeholders to review project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Operational and Financial Analysis: Analyze operational and financial performance, including WIP and Ad-Hoc analysis.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling.
  • Several years of experience in project controlling, preferably in mechanical engineering or plant engineering.
  • Strong SAP knowledge, including FI/CO & PS.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
