Job Title: Controller Systems Division

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our Systems Division team at Burckhardt Compression AG in Winterthur. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting order-related Gross Profit for the Systems Division, as well as providing project controlling support for the entity BCAG.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and forecasting of order-related Gross Profit for the Systems Division in close cooperation with the Contracting Organization.
  • Project Controlling for the Systems Division for the entity BCAG: analysis of revenues and margins, monthly closing activities, forecasting of revenues and margins, and participation in monthly Project Performance Review Meetings.
  • Proactive Business Partner for the Contracting Organization (Project Management): regular exchange with Business-Stakeholders, support of Business-Stakeholders in finance/controlling matters.
  • Supporting the Head of Controlling EMEA Systems Division in the preparation of the monthly Operation Review Meetings.
  • Supporting EMEA Controlling on profitability analysis by segment, product line, and project.
  • Supporting the Head of Controlling EMEA on intercompany reconciliation with other Burckhardt business entities in other locations.
  • Participation in strategic projects and initiatives, such as the implementation of new SAP-solutions or BI-tools.
  • Driving and supporting process improvements.
  • Contact person for the external auditors regarding project financials.
  • Mutual deputy with Business Unit Controller BCAG.
Your Profile:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling (University or FH).
  • Several years of experience (5+ years) in project controlling in an industrial company, preferably in mechanical engineering/plant engineering.
  • Experience in the implementation of new IT-Tools desirable (e.g. ERP roll-out).
  • Very good SAP knowledge: FI/CO & PS required, SD desirable.
  • Very good Excel skills.
  • S/4HANA knowledge is an asset.
  • Power BI knowledge is an asset.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
