Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Manager to join our team in Switzerland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management, analytical skills, and experience in FX and IR hedging.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.
- Collaborate with Trading desks, Treasury, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Continuously monitor market conditions, FX fluctuations, and interest rate changes to provide timely recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Leverage technology to streamline risk reporting and provide actionable insights.
- Academic background in Economics, Engineering, Math, Physics, or Finance with a strong quantitative background.
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in energy trading, commodity trading, or international corporate and financial institution with a focus on FX and IR hedging.
- Strong understanding of capital markets and financial instruments (e.g., FX derivatives, IR swaps, options, futures).
- Experience with cash management and funding concepts such as FVA, factoring, etc. in the context of energy trading.
- Proven expertise in FX&IR hedging strategies, portfolio management, and stress testing.
