Production Manager

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our MBP manufacturing team in Lengnau. This role involves ensuring seamless daily operations, developing team members, and implementing robust process parameters.
About the Role
As a Production Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be responsible for overseeing CVQ, PQ, and Process Validation, while maintaining meticulous adherence to quality standards and GMP rules. You will also drive continuous quality improvement and timely reporting and follow-up on deviations.
Key Responsibilities
* Mentor and develop team members to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
* Implement new production processes and lines, playing a crucial role in our growth and industry leadership
* Oversee cross-functional collaboration with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing Science and Technology, Engineering, Validation, and other relevant departments
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Food Science, or equivalent experience in the field
* 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations in a GMP-relevant environment
* Expertise in biotech or pharma processes, including Media and Buffer preparations, weigh and dispensing, CIP/SIP, and sterile processes is an advantage
* Strong knowledge and competence in automated processes
* Previous experience successfully leading teams
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
