Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead our team in Lengnau. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in pharmaceutical operations to join our pioneering facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing Science and Technology, Engineering, Validation, and other relevant departments
  • Implement new production processes and lines, playing a crucial role in our growth and industry leadership
  • Oversee CVQ, PQ, and Process Validation, ensuring meticulous adherence to quality standards and GMP rules

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations within our manufacturing suites. You will also oversee Technology Transfer and operational readiness activities, contributing to successful manufacturing campaigns and implementing effective succession planning.

A salary of approximately $120,000 per year is offered for this position, reflecting the importance we place on attracting and retaining top talent.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Food Science, or equivalent experience in the field
  • 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations in a GMP-relevant environment
  • Strong knowledge and competence in automated processes, biotech or pharma processes, including Media and Buffer preparations, weigh and dispensing, CIP/SIP, and sterile processes
  • Previous experience successfully leading teams
