About This Role

This position is part of our research and development team located at our site in Dietikon, where we focus on developing communication and control technologies for trains and other means of transport.

Job Description:

  • Develop the hardware architecture for communication products such as MVB, Ethernet, and CAN bus systems.
  • Create conceptual designs for embedded systems and robust power supply units.
  • Select hardware components while considering regulatory standards and project requirements.
  • Construct prototypes and demonstrators in our laboratory environment.
  • Develop test concepts to ensure quality, performance, and reliability standards.
Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in circuit and PCB design for embedded communication solutions.
  • Experience with EMC troubleshooting and resolving conducted disturbances.
  • Strong skills in digital and analog circuit technologies and Altium Designer.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to working in a dynamic tech company environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with peers.

Salary Information: The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from 120,000 to 180,000 CHF depending on experience and qualifications.
