Hardware Architecture Specialist

Job Description:

  As a Hardware Architecture Specialist for our communication systems, you will be responsible for defining and leading the hardware architecture of products such as MVB, Ethernet, and CAN bus systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the conceptualization and circuit design of embedded systems for rail vehicle field bus communication, analog and digital I/O systems, and robust power supply units.
• Select hardware components, assessing technical specifications to guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
• Develop test concepts in preparation for product launch and mass production, ensuring all quality, performance, and reliability standards are met.

  We seek an individual with a strong background in electronics, electrical, or communications engineering who can demonstrate autonomous, high-quality work, dedication, and resilience under pressure. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in circuit and PCB design for embedded communication solutions, with strong skills in both digital and analog circuit technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electronics, electrical, communications engineering or a related field (doctorate considered a plus).
• Expertise in EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) troubleshooting, focusing on identifying and resolving issues related to conducted disturbances.
• Strong team player attitude, adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, supporting peers, sharing expertise, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Software experience in C/C++ and programming experience in PLD/FPGA (desired).
