The Institute for Economy and the Environment at Universität St. Gallen is a renowned research institution that has been at the forefront of sustainability management since its founding in 1992. Our Chair of Sustainability Management, led by Prof. Judith Walls, has established a strong track record of innovative research programs, educational initiatives, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate researcher to join our team as a doctoral student on the topic of corporate governance and leadership for environmental sustainability and transformation. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research, collaborate with esteemed colleagues, and develop their expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
As a researcher in our group, you will be part of a vibrant community that values knowledge creation, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity. You will have access to state-of-the-art research facilities, participate in regular seminars and workshops, and engage in collaborative projects with industry partners and international institutions.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a Master's degree from a recognized university, have a background in business administration or related fields, and demonstrate a strong passion for transformative sustainability. You should also be able to work independently, have excellent writing skills, and be fluent in English.
