Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of analytical scientists and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful development and implementation of analytical methods and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless integration of analytical support into the product development lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies and goals, aligning with the company's overall objectives and vision.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on analytical development and quality control, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, driving efficiency and productivity within the department.

Requirements

  • PhD in Analytics, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in a GMP environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership and people management, with a strong ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with biophysical and biochemical analysis and characterization of proteins is highly desirable.
