Job Summary:

Experis Schweiz is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with Linux Background to join one of their clients, a well-known international IT Consultancy company. This exciting opportunity is open to candidates with relevant experience in Java development and Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and upgrade existing technology stack to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Develop Ansible playbooks for release rollouts and operational purposes to streamline processes and improve reliability.
  3. Enhance existing Platform service implementations to meet evolving business needs and improve customer satisfaction.
  4. Contribute to the Platform Modernization efforts to stay ahead of the competition and drive innovation.
  5. Provide 3rd Level Support of production environments to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  1. Working experience with at least one of the following technologies: Kafka, ZooKeeper, Elasticsearch, Ignite.
  2. Extended experience in the JEE technology stack, Core Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, Maven.
  3. Experience with Apache/Tomcat on UNIX/Linux environment with shell script programming.
  4. Agile methodologies and working knowledge in tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  5. English fluently spoken and written. Good German skills is a plus.
  6. Team player qualities, good communication and presentation skills.
