Huawei Switzerland's Fresh Graduate Program offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their careers in the dynamic field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). As a Junior IT Engineer, you will be part of the Huawei Switzerland Delivery & Service team, supporting them in all tasks. You will have the chance to establish IT environments, configure storage, virtualization, and cloud systems, and perform maintenance and upgrades.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for establishing IT environments by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- Configure and integrate storage, virtualization, cloud systems such as SAN, NAS, S3, Virtualization, Cloud.
- Perform IT maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Participate in various channel technology activities and enable Huawei channel partners.
Requirements:
- Recently graduated from a technical university, preferably Telecommunications or Computer Science.
- First work experience or internships in the IT Infrastructure area is preferred.
- Understanding of Switzerland's ICT industry.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
- High flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse, high-paced organization.
- Fluent in English and German is a must; further languages are an advantage.
Please note that candidates must have work authorization in Switzerland, be a graduate from a bachelor or masters in 2024-2025, and speak English and German to be considered for this position.
