Trust Management Specialist

Capital Trustees AG, an independent trustee company based in Switzerland, is seeking a Trust Management Specialist to join our team. This role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of structures for international clients and entrepreneurial groups.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with clients, intermediaries, and internal contacts to maximize client retention and satisfaction. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a mix portfolio of structures (such as trusts, investment companies, foundations, private trust companies) for internationally oriented clients and entrepreneurial groups;
  • Developing working relationships with clients, intermediaries, and internal contacts to maximise client retention;
  • Working directly with the end-clients, their lawyers, tax advisers, bankers, accountants, registered agents, and other third parties to ensure the proper administration of the structures;
  • Implementing fiduciary solutions in cooperation with legal and tax advisors;
  • Ensuring financial and non-financial targets are met in order to maintain a sustainable fiduciary business;
  • Taking part in events as a speaker, if needed;
  • Providing support to the Legal and Compliance Office;
  • Staying up-to-date with the regulations and trends in the industry.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Professional experience preferably in trustee companies with international clientele or alternatively experience in the private department of legal firms or wealth planning in banking institutions, joining a senior position;
  • A strong knowledge of Trust instrument, its application, and benefits;
  • A good understanding of the relevant laws of the local jurisdiction;
  • Excellent English language skills, knowledge of German is an advantage;
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with an independent working style;
  • Well-organised and ability to deal with conflicting demands under pressure;
  • An outgoing personality and confident to speak to end clients;
  • A capacity to understand both clients' and our firm's needs;
  • A team player, open-minded, and pragmatic.
  • TEP membership is a plus.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is CHF 120,000 - CHF 180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
