Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned electrical engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy Ltd, responsible for leading electrical, thermal, and specialized tests for our high voltage bushing product line.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute tests for our high voltage bushing product line, deciding whether to conduct in-house or external tests based on available resources and budget.
- Lead in-house Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) with customers and perform routine, type, and/or special tests as required.
- Ensure the full functionality and safety of our laboratories, including updating maintenance plans, instructions, and training materials.
- Secure the required quality of bushings and traceability through process instructions.
- As a deputy of the head of testing, manage operational activities such as resource management, fully supporting our daily business.
- Project manage mid to small projects.
- Question and reflect all procedures and instructions as part of continuous improvement processes (CIP).
Required Background
- Successful studies in electrical engineering or equivalent, Bachelor or Master of Science.
- Experience in the high voltage, testing, or electrical machine field, preferably in a production environment.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
- Business fluent German and good English, both spoken and written.
- Team spirit, high social competence, and enjoyment of working in a multicultural environment.
- Flexibility and technology enthusiasm.
- Proactive towards problem-solving.
- Organized character with the ability to prioritize.
