About the Position
The Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the University of St.Gallen is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team. As a Research Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our faculty members and contribute to cutting-edge research in private markets and alternative investments.
Your Tasks
As a Research Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the design and implementation of research projects in private markets and alternative investments
- Collecting and analyzing data, as well as developing and implementing empirical models
- Presenting research findings at conferences and workshops
- Collaborating with faculty members and other researchers on research projects
Your Profile
We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual with a strong background in economics or finance. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Master's degree in economics or finance from a leading university or business school
- A strong interest in private markets and alternative investments
- Demonstrated suitability to work on analytical problems and solid empirical analysis skills
- Previous research experience in private markets or corporate finance is a definite plus
