Xylem Water Solutions is at the forefront of addressing the world's most critical water challenges. We are seeking a talented candidate for the EHS Manager position in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and support to the country MD, line management, and employees to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and risk management.
  • Implement the EHS Strategy and EHS targets based on Regional and Corporate demands, operating as an EHS role model and leading by example.
  • Plan and execute Gemba Walks and ACS 365 safety dialogues for all locations to identify areas for improvement, take action, and develop the safety mindset.
  • Deliver risk and safety awareness training for field-based managers, team leads, and technicians to ensure effective implementation of EHS programs and safety campaigns.
  • Develop, establish, and strengthen the Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • Manage and execute the Country Annual Inspection Program, ensuring all actions are closed in a timely manner, and support internal and external audits to include follow-up and closure of EHS-related non-conformities, observations, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Completed studies or vocational training in the field of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) or technology.
  • Practical experience in field service activities with a focus on customer orientation, such as in a technical field like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering/electronics.
  • Knowledge of EHS IT reporting tools and IT literacy, including Microsoft business applications.
  • Driving license and medical fitness to carry out site inspections, visits, and Gemba Walks.
  • Hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to explore further.
  • Flexible and open to travel between 3 locations for up to 50%.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English, with knowledge of additional languages an advantage.
