EHS Process Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS process safety management systems to meet global standards and regulations.
- Drive compliance with EHS regulations and international standards on site with respect to process safety.
- Collaborate with EHS functions to handle EHS concepts and programs.
- Manage external process safety consultants and act as Lonza counterpart for process safety lab services.
- Conduct plant inspections, short audits, and site inspections to ensure process safety.
- Implement and continuously improve EHS process safety dashboard and performance monitoring systems.
- Develop, create, and implement EHS process safety standards for Visp.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent.
- Safety Engineer (Sicherheitsingenieur) EKAS/SUVA and proven experience in process safety.
- Profound work experience within the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Bio-manufacturing industry.
- Proven process understanding in Biopharma manufacturing (safety aspects).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in German and English.
- Strong presentation skills for developing and delivering training to elevate knowledge, skills, and behaviors at multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity using coaching skills.
