Job Summary

The University of Zurich is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of neuropsychiatry and biomarkers. As a key member of our research group, you will play a leading role in developing and implementing statistical and methodological approaches to advance our understanding of neurodegenerative diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct research studies to investigate the relationship between biomarkers and neurodegenerative diseases
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical models to analyze large datasets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals
  • Supervise graduate and master students in research projects
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects and grant proposals

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g. data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, neurosciences, pathophysiology)
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical data modeling and data integration
  • Excellent scientific track record, including publications in top-tier journals
  • Experience in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and biomarker discovery
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); German desirable
