Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Validation Expert to join our team at Flexsis AG, IT-GITR. As a preferred supplier for Roche Rotkreuz, we value the importance of quality and innovation in our work.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with an unlimited contract, allowing for career growth and stability. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work from home, with a maximum of one day per week required on-site in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the integration of IT solutions in various environments, including laboratory instruments, cloud, and on-premise configurations.
  • Design and execute test cases for IT product validations, primarily manual test campaigns in the lab with room for automated validations.
  • Maintain and optimize testing infrastructure, including virtual machines, edge, and cloud configurations.
  • Analyze root causes, document test results, manage issue resolution, and share outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across different system component development teams.
  • Operate and manage laboratory instruments for validation purposes.
Requirements
  • A university degree or comparable in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (GitLab/GitHub with CI/CD pipelines; API development and testing (Postman); Basic SQL knowledge for database queries; Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Working experience with cloud services and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Flux, Docker, Terraform for IaC; AWS Practitioner level; Virtual machines and containerization).
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles, although prior experience is not necessary.
  • Domain knowledge in the diagnostics industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with German being an advantage.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is approximately €70,000 - €90,000 per year, based on industry standards and location factors.
