Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner/Operational Buyer to join our team at Lonza. As a key player in our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials from receipt to production, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of resources.


Main duties include:

  • Collaborating with procurement teams to develop and implement effective material planning strategies.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date material records in SAP.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Advanced level in Supply Chain, Materials Planning/Scheduling, and/or Purchasing: 5-10 years of experience.
  • Purchasing, inventory, analytical, and distribution management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
