About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled sales professional to join ABB's team as a Regional Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in the defined area through regular customer visits and advice to specified segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Boosting the PMA business in the defined area through regular customer visits and advice to the specified segments
  • Representing the business interface for PMA Key Accounts in the region
  • Driving the growth of PMA business by identifying new applications and needs and working with the organization to create solutions, driving the activities of Application Engineering
  • Designing and implementing strategic business plans that expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence
Requirements
  • Experience in selling technical solutions in the above-mentioned customer segments
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role – smaller scope
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships at all levels including senior management
  • Education in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering background or Business Education or similar work education – ideally with expertise in electrical harnesses
  • Fluency in both oral and writing in German and English is a must
  • Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional 'can-do' attitude
