Electronics Technical Leader in Space Products

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technical Leader to join our team in Zürich, Switzerland. As a key member of our space products team, you will be responsible for leading the development of electronics systems for satellite and space technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define requirements at electronics board level
  • Design and develop detailed electronics systems, including trade-off analysis and simulation
  • Verify electrical circuits through review, analysis, and simulation
  • Coordinate the development of Unit Interface Equipment (UIE) and EGSE definition and commissioning
  • Commission and test prototype and flight electronics
  • Support Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT)
  • Establish and maintain engineering plans and activities schedules
  • Lead a small team of development engineers
  • Ensure process adherence in electronics development
  • Monitor team progress and report to team leaders
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in space, avionics, or defense industry
  • Master's degree in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Proven experience in architecture definition at electronics board level, including PCB and CCA design
  • Familiarity with COTS EEE parts selection
  • Expertise in control and digital electronics development, particularly with FPGAs, DSPs, and CPUs
  • Experience with EMC design and analysis of electronics systems/sub-systems
  • Experience in development activities scheduling and coordination
  • Experience with radiation mitigation techniques in electronics design is an advantage
  • Experience with Requirements Management with IBM DOORS is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Python, and Mentor Graphics is an asset
  • Fluent communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated and committed with strong sense of responsibility and reliability
  • Strong communication skills and experience in international environment
