Senior Sourcing Expert Life Sciences

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Sourcing Expert Life Sciences to join our CapEx procurement team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of engineering services to support a large investment pipeline globally.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand sourcing needs and contribute to projects' successful execution.
The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a comprehensive understanding of the engineering services in the life sciences landscape, and the ability to cultivate partnerships with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute category strategies for the procurement of engineering services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand sourcing needs and contribute to projects' successful execution.
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
- Manage the entire life cycle of request for information/quotation process for large packages, ensuring compliance and mitigating contract risks.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier capacity dynamics to inform decision-making.
- Implement savings initiatives to achieve category-specific performance metrics.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and strategic insights.
- Onboard suppliers to the Responsible Sourcing initiatives and follow up on compliance with the supplier code of conduct.
