Aerospace Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough safety assessments for avionics, software-intensive, and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and validate safety requirements, and verify their implementation to guarantee the highest level of safety.
- Perform risk assessments to support continued airworthiness and identify potential hazards.
- Classify engineering changes based on their safety impact.
- Proven expertise in conducting Safety Assessments in accordance with SAE ARP 4761, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), and proficiency in techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis and Common Mode Analysis (CMA).
- Hands-on experience with SAE ARP 4754A standards for the development of civil aircraft and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills (C1).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adaptability in approaching challenges, with a capacity to work independently and proactively find solutions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within the company and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to balance analytical rigor with consensus-building among multiple stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with safety objectives and regulatory compliance.
