As a Corporate Actions / QI RECON Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be responsible for analyzing, notifying, and processing various corporate actions events and providing full-service support for our Quality Reconciliation (QI RECON) process.
Your key responsibilities
- You will write notification letters to Relationship Managers and clients and transmit instructions to our custodians.
- You will book voluntary and mandatory corporate actions events in client accounts and other business units, including cash and/or securities.
- You will review and control performed corporate actions bookings.
- You will assist Relationship Managers with corporate action-related questions and lifecycle events.
- You will support the development of our corporate action tools.
- You will participate in the QI RECON process.
Your profile and qualifications
- You hold a university degree in a financial market-related discipline or completed an apprenticeship or similar banking education.
- You have 3 years of practical experience in the field of financial markets/operations.
- You possess basic knowledge of QI RECON processes.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have knowledge of Avalox and Fitax, which is an advantage.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You are willing to take responsibility.
- You have a very good command of English.
