We are seeking a change maker with deep expertise and a strong track record in driving climate action and environmental sustainability initiatives. In this role, you will manage Straumann's Net Zero program, leading cross-functional efforts to reduce carbon emissions and achieve our ambitious climate targets. Your ability to lead complex projects, influence key stakeholders, and embed climate considerations into business strategies will be critical to your success.
Main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Global Net Zero program: Lead the strategic development and execution of Straumann's Net Zero 2040 program, ensuring it is fully integrated with the company's broader sustainability and business strategies.
- Climate transition plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive climate transition plan to achieve Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions reductions, ensuring alignment with Straumann's SBTi-approved net zero target and long-term business growth.
Requirements include a university degree in sustainability, business, finance, or environmental science, as well as further education in environmental engineering or project management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in corporate sustainability, climate change, or environmental management, with a proven track record in leading large cross-functional projects.
