Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Skillfinder International. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology stacks and contribute to the growth of our company.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS CDK/CDK8s/CloudFormation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large multi-account AWS setups and other public cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using IaC frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of systems.
  • Provide expert-level support for containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the IT field with 5+ years of DevOps / Amazon AWS Cloud experience.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC frameworks (preferably AWS CDK/CDK8s/CloudFormation).
  • Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (administrator level) with hands-on experience using Helm charts.
  • Solid knowledge of at least one programming language; prior development experience is a big advantage.
  • Agile mindset with a focus on constant improvement and self-education.
