Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team at KPMG AG. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality advisory services to our clients in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities- Support and lead projects related to quantitative risk management, including model development and validation, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop effective risk management strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management.
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, physics, or economics.
- 4-10 years of professional experience in risk management, preferably in banking or consulting.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and solution-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
- Experience with model development and validation, as well as coding skills in Python or R, are highly desirable.
- Business-fluent in English, with German or French language skills also beneficial.
