Job Title: Commodities Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodities Business Analyst to join our global Transformation Team at ECOM Trading. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assessing, reporting, and assisting with the deployment of our First Mile product across different businesses within the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business insights to optimize and develop business processes across commodities
  • Identify future transformational changes, focusing on First Mile projects, with opportunities for further development
  • Conduct discovery of origin as-is processes and compare them to global ECOM process templates
  • Build relationships with origin teams to facilitate integration and adoption of new First Mile technology
  • Establish processes to improve data standardization, quality, and coverage, with a focus on EU regulation compliance
  • Prepare materials for various stakeholders
  • Work closely with Business teams to align on business requirements and ensure alignment with First Mile projects
  • Make recommendations, propose standardizations, and prioritize methodologies for Business teams within an agile project structure
  • Coordinate rollout plans for various projects and communicate with the First Mile Change lead, Service team, and First Mile Project Manager
  • Provide updates and risks associated with activities assigned to the First Mile Product team

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a business analyst in a project environment with a proven interest in business process/transformation
  • Degree in Business, Management, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Skills, knowledge, and experience within the commodity industry or supply chain environment are highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of communications planning and delivery to support change initiatives, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to various audiences
  • Proven numeracy, analytical, and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with various teams in origin countries
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent English required; Spanish or French speaking desirable
