Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Sales Strategist to join our team at Michael Page. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire pricing strategy, manifest creation, and sales forecasting for different competitions.

You will work closely with our client's ticketing platform in partnership with a third-party provider to enhance the customer journey, manage data effectively, and maintain exceptional customer service standards.

The successful candidate will develop and implement ticket and hospitality sales strategies, generate revenue reports, and assist with financial reconciliation and auditing procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining ticket inventories and overseeing the placement of all ticket holds
  • Implementing the new ticketing platform across all areas, ensuring seamless customer service, efficient ticketing operations, and effective sales and reporting
  • Coordinating with marketing teams to develop compelling narratives and sales messages, ensuring high demand and sales
  • Serving as the liaison with different stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication
  • Oversighting the work of the Ticketing Executive, ensuring they meet their targets and support the overall ticketing strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in the sport industry, promoter environment, entertainment venue, or similar
  • Solid experience in creating or managing an in-house ticketing platform for large-scale events
  • Proven knowledge and ability to collaborate with commercial stakeholders and sponsors to meet their requirements
  • Fluent English (C1) and French (B2), with other languages being an asset
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with a sense of responsibility and self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently and have an innovative approach to problem solving
  • Willingness to travel

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
