We seek an inspiring thought leader and practitioner in corporate communications to strengthen our expertise in this field, with a focus on Innovation communications.In close collaboration with the Director of Communications for Content Strategy, this pivotal role will be instrumental in developing and implementing communications strategies that articulate On's commitment to pioneering new products, disruptive technologies, and the future of movement. Your Mission - Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive content strategies and communication roadmaps for Innovation, R&D, and Future Technology topics, aligning with On’s overarching narrative, ensuring consistency across all communications - In collaboration with Innovation, R&D, and Product teams, develop and contribute to On's narrative, crafting key messaging, communication initiatives, and high-quality content that communicates On's commitment to pioneering breakthroughs (including new materials, manufacturing methods, and product concepts), for various initiatives, including executive positioning - Partner with the Issues and Crisis Mgmt team to manage issues and develop (global) risk mitigation strategies, focusing on Innovation and R&D topics, from a content perspective - Partner with On’s Brand PR teams to provide messaging support and assistance when required - Leverage data and strategies to help form On's global corporate communications strategy, monitoring reputation sentiment, market shifts, and stakeholder perceptions to guide content creation Your story - You have worked in Communications for 7-10 years, with a strong focus on content strategy and development for innovation, R&D, and/or product/technology communications in a global organisation - You have a proven ability to develop and implement successful, high-impact content strategies that drive engagement, enhance brand reputation, and support business objectives - You are a strategic leader with a proven track record of providing counsel to senior executives and shaping corporate narratives related to FMCG, Innovation, R&D, and/or Product Development - You have an exceptional understanding of integrated communications and the ability to align content across various channels - You possess excellent communication skills, including strong writing and editing abilities, with the capacity to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences - You have a proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and a desire to challenge the status quo - You possess strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and navigate complex business issues and their communication implications, especially within the innovation and R&D landscape - You have demonstrated experience in developing content for a variety of high-stakes communication needs (including issues/crisis communications and executive communications on innovation and R&D topics) - You thrive when you don’t have all the answers, and you work autonomously to turn ideas into reality About the Team The On Communications team is responsible for stewarding On’s overarching narrative – connecting purpose, strategy, and vision into one coherent story. It is tasked with shaping, developing, and protecting On’s reputation with its stakeholders through proactive and reactive communications efforts. We work as a globally integrated team, following a one-voice principle, and serve as trusted advisors to the organization, shaping perception, building trust, and protecting our reputation.
