PostDoctoral position in Advanced Perovskite Image Sensors 100 % Branche Region PostDoctoral position in Advanced Perovskite Image Sensors Postdoctoral position is available in the Functional Inorganic Materials Group (KovalenkoLab) at ETH Zurich, Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences. Project background The project aims to develop a conceptually new type of image sensor based on perovskite materials. Related publications: 1. Wu, E., et al., A CMOS-Compatible Fabrication Approach for High-Performance Perovskite Photodetector Arrays. Advanced Optical Materials, 2025. 13(10): p. 2402979. State-of-the-art electronic device fabrication techniques will be applied during the project, including thermal evaporation, magnetron sputtering, spin-coating, photolithography, and plasma etching. Advanced optical and electronic methods will be used for device characterization. The research activities will involve: Synthesis and deposition of perovskite thin films (e.g., thermal co-evaporation) Fabrication of charge-selective layers and transparent conductive oxide electrodes Development of perovskite-specific integration and patterning methods (adapted photolithography, dry/wet etching) Comprehensive optoelectronic characterization of fabricated devices Collaboration with industrial partners Supervision of PhD students in the project Profile We are seeking highly motivated candidates with strong achievements and a proven track record.
