Head Product Control

What it’s about Partners Group's Evergreen Product Control team is seeking a talented (Co-) Head Product Control to join our business unit Fund Operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring proper oversight of open-ended private markets funds. The Head Product Control leads Product Control globally as a member of management, focusing primarily on topics with strategic importance for Product Control and the entire Business Unit, as well as people development. Responsibilities - Support the Business Unit Head on broader Fund Operations topics and initiatives especially as it relates to the Fund Accounting area - Lead and develop a global team of Product Controllers, ensuring proper review and approval of Net Asset Values and Financial Statements prepared by external service providers, including monitoring performance and rationalizing the NAV movement within the portfolio - Lead IFRS and US GAAP related projects related to new and existing business, including funds’ restructuring, which are aimed to enhance investor transparency and competitiveness in the private markets industry. - Guide and support the team on accounting policies decisions during the launch of new funds and perform in‑depth analysis of the impact of these policies on the Net Asset Value of the funds. - Build, develop and coach team members within Product Control and the broader Fund Operations business unit - Further advance our automation strategy (NAV oversight tool) in collaboration with our Quantitative & Risk Management team - Assist third‑party service providers for our evergreen products, including auditors, fund administrators, and custodians, by coordinating workflows and reviewing deliverables. - Foster open communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal results. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the business unit or department. What we expect - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACCA). - At least 15 years of experience in private markets fund accounting, controlling and/or financial statement audit functions. - Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and drive team members - Passionate to work in an international and fast‑paced environment with strong desire to learn about private markets - Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a self‑motivated work ethic. - Passion for working within a leading private markets firm and contributing to its continued success.
