VP Digital Services Business, Motion Services division
Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will implement the digital sales strategy in your market scope to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve growth goals. Daily, you will execute digital sales initiatives to meet sales targets, ensuring order growth, revenue, margin, market share, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to the growth of the digital customer base.
This role is open globally, but location is set in ABB offices in Finland (Helsinki), Germany (Manheim), Italy (Sesto San Giovanni), Spain (Madrid), Switzerland (Baden) or US (New Berlin). The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid
You will be mainly responsible for:
• Implementing the defined digital sales strategy in your specified market scope (global/regional) to improve market penetration and achieve growth aspirations.
• Executing digital sales strategy and initiatives to achieve qualitative and quantitative digital sales targets, ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Acting as a critical contributor to the growth of the digital customer base.
• Selling digital solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
• Establishing and maintain effective customer relationships, including with customers' digital stakeholders, to understand their needs and promote understanding of ABB's complete product/systems/services offering.
• Aligning with customers to provide tailored solutions.
• Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Preparing sales plans using company-authorized tools.
Qualifications for the role
- At least 5+ years of experience in digital technology sales and customer management
- Growth Mindset with a demonstrated Doer-Hunter attitude.
- Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth and market expansion.
- Excellent ability and aptitude to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders up to the C-Suite
- Demonstrate experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Command of the Message, or other similar frameworks.
- Demonstrate collaboration across sales and marketing organization, and create joint successes with regional and local sales units
- Strong experience in developing and implementing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and growing revenue for digital B2B technology-based solutions.
