Azure Platform Engineer – DevOps Focus Location: Zürich, Switzerland Employment Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract Work Model: Hybrid (onsite presence required 3 days per week in Zürich About the role As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions that drive business transformation. You will be a valued member of our technology team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments. In this role, you will: - Lead the design, implementation, and automation of Azure-based infrastructure solutions with a strong focus on DevOps best practices. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code deployments. - Collaborate with agile teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. - Ensure cloud environments meet security, networking, and governance standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in enterprise cloud environments. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence in Zürich for 3 days per week. What you need to have to be considered - 7–15 years of hands-on experience as an Azure Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on DevOps practices. - Expertise in Azure services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates). - Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance. - Experience working in enterprise cloud environments. - Strong collaboration skills and experience working in agile teams. These will help you stand out - Prior experience with banking cloud environments. - Advanced knowledge of Azure security and compliance frameworks. - Experience mentoring or leading DevOps teams. - Certifications in Azure or DevOps-related domains.
