Embotech is an award-winning software scale-up developing cutting edge autonomous driving technology and solutions for autonomous vehicles, with a focus on private ground applications such as trucks at port terminals and passenger cars in factories. We are delivering safe autonomous transportation by leveraging the real-time optimization technology that we have been developing since 2013. As a passionate Software Development intern, you will join a team of top technical talent and contribute towards the development of software tools for simulation and visualization for Embotech automated driving solutions (yard logistics and car manufacturing). Knowledge of Rust is not a pre-requisite for this position, but you need to be eager to learn Rust. Responsibilities
Requirements
- Implementation of software tools in Rust for
- Studies in computer science, electrical engineering automated driving projects or similar degree
- Develop, document, test and maintain the
- Experience in development of software in C, modern companion software tools such as visualization, C++, Rust or any other language logging and simulation tools necessary to
- Experience with real-time systems is a plus successfully deploy, test and support our
- Analytical abilities autonomous driving stacks
- Fast familiarization with new tasks, problems and
- Design the best technical solution based on the environments requirements of internal and external
- Good communication skills in English stakeholders
- Perform reviews of requirements, documentation, test specifications and source code
- Follow state-of-the-art development practices
- Ensure the software tools meet high demands towards performance and reliability
- Support & improve continuous integration pipelines
- Write automated tests
- Assist internal and external customers in debugging complex problems arising in the field
