Head of Product Management Motion and Bellows

YOUR CHALLENGES

- Owns the overall business strategy development, mid-to-long term planning, budgeting, sales projections and profit and loss results in line with corporate and Business Units targets.
- Drives market and competitive intelligence (market-size, market requirements, market share, customer share of wallet, technology trends, etc.) as a base to draft respective strategies and short- to mid-term measures to remain competitive and growing market share.
- Assigns, allocates, and develops resources with regular prioritization and communication to the stakeholders to achieve business results.
- Leads the product management and directs the engineering team to achieve business unit goals.
- Actively drives engagement within the teams and proactively garners support from other matrix functions such as core tech, BU engineering, operations and quality.
- Continuously monitors and improves the product development process enhancing efficiencies.
- Defines and manages the product portfolio and roadmaps as to set clear cost and time goals for core tech, BU engineering, operations and quality.
- Interacts actively with VAT innovation groups, such as corporate R&D and other BUs to foster innovation and share platforms in products and technology.
- Supports operations to release the supply chain for the owned products.
- Interacts actively with sales to monitor and drive the business results.
- Interacts actively with quality striving for a zero-defect culture.
- Incorporates company standards of excellence into daily work to foster a total quality environment and demonstrate personal commitment to excellence.
- Defines the minimum requirements and the totality of the offerings, identifying the synergies across portfolio and drives with head of engineering the platform development.
- Supported by legal counsels manages contracts, such as NDA, JDA, etc.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in engineering related science.
- Fluent business English skills written and spoken.
- Profound project management skills in an international acting company.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate in customer escalations.
- Experience in product management within highly differentiated industrial businesses.
- Knowledge of the practical application of product life cycle management.
- Strong entrepreneurship and strategic thinking.
- Solid experience in managing international projects.
- Account Management experience.
- Know-how of Semiconductor market or extensive experience in vacuum industry.
- Management experience in leading teams at the professional level.
- Willingness to travel 20-25%
