**Director of Employee Relations**

Job Summary:
The Director of Employee Relations is responsible for providing support and guidance to employees and managers on a variety of HR-related issues, performance management and conflict resolution. The team helps to set and implement a global vision, strategy and operating model to better understand and respond to employee needs and concerns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on a variety of sensitive HR issues across our EF offices (except the US)
- Help prevent and resolve problems or disputes between employees and management
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints
- Maintain accurate employment records and files
- Communicate and enforce company policies
- Regularly report on and analyze employment data
- Work closely with internal and external legal departments

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build credibility among management and peers
- Talented multi-tasker with ability to work in team and independent settings
- Strong attention to detail and consciousness in managing confidential information
- Capacity to work in a timely and organized way to meet deadlines
- Thorough understanding of laws, regulations and guidelines related to HR
- Has a strong analytical/fact based decision-making skills combined with the ability to think innovatively. Including remaining professional and objective.
- Examines root cause and provides recommendations to management to mitigate repeated issues.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related discipline from four-year college or university required
- At least 3-5 years of relevant employee relations/work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience and knowledge of HR operations and administration required
