**La Haute école de gestion de Genève **is the largest business school of the University of Applied Sciences

and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO network) with approximately 1700 Bachelor students, and around 300

students in executive education programs. HEG-Geneva is a public, practice-oriented university, delivering

Bachelor and Master degrees. Our programs are designed to train tomorrow’s professionals. HEG-Geneva is

positioning itself as the reference school in terms of applied management in the French-speaking part of

Switzerland.

**International Business Management **is a young and dynamic department created in 2013. Providing a unique
Bachelor program entirely in English, it currently welcomes around 450 undergraduate students. Based on a
practice-oriented pedagogy with professors, lecturers and external lecturers all with professional expertise,
the program has contributed to increasing the international activities of the HEG-Geneva.

**Missions**
- Teach courses and continuously create fresh content in the fields of Management, and more specifically in

the fields of Human Resources, Leadership and Organisations in Bachelor and Master programs, as well

as in continuing education programs
- Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
- Perform coordination, administrative and organizational activities related to the field of teaching and

research
- Support the Chair of the department in strategic projects, such as curriculum engineering and competency
- based program approach, and the strengthening of international partnerships

**Profile**
- Master degree or equivalent diploma in Management, Human Resources, Leadership or a related field, a

PhD is a plus
- Proven professional experience of at least 5 years in an international environment in the field of

management, HR, learning & development***
- Strong teaching experience at the Bachelor ’s and Master’s level is required, teaching certificates are a plus
- Broad knowledge of the local and regional economies, together with an experience in an international

environment
- Ability to connect our students with meaningful international organizations to guarantee regular practice on
- Ability to operate in a complex changing environment and work with a team
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English and French (the department’s teaching language is

English). Working knowledge of French is expected after 4 years of employment

**Observations**
- Temporary position of 12 months, renewable
