Job Responsibilities:

- Assist on the setup and installation of build stations and test lab setups.
- Support the Process team in configuring and troubleshooting the automation platform used during builds.
- Design and execution of experiments to characterize current capabilities and compare against new features.
- Documentation of processes, experiments and features.
- Mechanical design of toolings for the robot arm and/or peripherals.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or degree from a Technical College in Automation, Robotics, Software, Electronics or Mechanics.
- Proficient in Python. Knowledge of LabView is a plus. Willingness and skill to learn quickly new programming languages.
- Excellent understanding of software design practices: version control, continuous integration, unit testing, etc.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Teamwork orientation with strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills, as well as commitment to continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated, able to estimate, update and communicate tasks and small projects with the rest of the team.
- Fluency in English. German is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in Switzerland on a full-time basis.

Additional Desired Experience:

- Understanding of optical systems and components is a plus.
- Familiar with qualification of equipment, tools, processes and products.
- Experience programming or troubleshooting PLCs.
