For our team Legal Zürich, we are looking for an experienced Private Banking Legal Counsel.

Swiss Bar admission, previous experience in a Swiss Private Bank and fluent English and German are mandatory.

**Main responsibilities**
- Providing support to the Management, Private Banking Front Desk, Credit, Marketing, Human Resources, IT and Operations departments as well as the Independent Asset Manager Desk for legal issues
- Advising on, negotiating and drafting of loan agreements, banking form documentation, intra-bank documentation, internal directives and corporate documentation
- Advising on and managing of (client) complaints, litigation and contentious issues at Swiss and international level
- Selecting, instructing and supervising of external counsels
- Preparing and providing internal trainings on various legal topics
- Providing support to and advising on the development of new banking products
- Identification and mitigation of legal risks

**Special Tasks**
- Acting as designated counsel for standard and complex credit transactions
- Supporting the Credit Department in various financing transactions and tasks
- Participating in and leading of projects as representative of the Legal Department

**Skills and experience**
- Swiss law degree and bar admittance
- Fluency and strong oral and written communication skills in German and English
- 6 years post bar experience, gained within a law firm handling financial matters or within a legal department of a financial institution
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong analytical skills with ability to deliver consistent, accurate and timely advice
