- SPS is a global group for the digital transformation of business processes. At our global headquarters in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel for the Swiss business. In this exciting role you will be responsible for the holistic legal advice of our Swiss subsidiary, in particular for the drafting and negotiation of a large number of commercial contracts. You will be part of a team and report directly to the General Counsel. An entrepreneurial mindset and customer orientation are important components of our work culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts (especially service contracts), procurement, IT and license contracts as well as data protection agreements.
- Support local functions with hands-on advice in a broad range of legal topics and handle legal risk in a business minded and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Educate business colleagues on SPS’ contract governance.
- Further develop SPS’ contract management system.
- Instruct and coordinate outside counsel.
- Support global projects and thereby contribute to the further development of the legal function of SPS.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Master of Law acquired from a Swiss University. Swiss bar admission is a plus.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as legal counsel in an international environment (in-house experience preferred).
- Strong and demonstrated capabilities in contract drafting and negotiation.
- The ideal profile comes with in-house experience particularly in the following fields: contract law in many different areas such as service contracts (MSAs), IP/IT, licensing, data protection and employment law.
- Interest in a broad range of legal topics and at ease to contact team members proactively.
- Assertive personality.
- Committed and resilient, with the will to take on responsibility.
- Team spirit and motivated to develop the legal function.
- Proficiency in German and English is a must. French is a plus.
