At Alpiq, we are currently looking for a Business Controller as part of a natural succession. The role focuses on Alpiq’s European assets and as such offers a nice and diverse scope of responsibilities. The role is to be based at our offices in Olten, Switzerland and reports to our Head Business Controlling Generation International.

**Your main responsibilities**
- Preparation of reports and related services for the Division Generation International, execution of closing tasks (validations, corrections, non-standard provisions and accruals etc.), elaboration of figures, deviation analysis, etc.
- Preparations of products for planning (budgets, forecasts etc.) implementation of measures and assumptions, assurance of quality and consistency of plans, etc.
- Execution of core controlling tasks, e.g. controlling of cost centers and internal orders, calculation of internal charges, transfer pricing, etc.
- Supporting of group wide tasks, e.g. impairment calculations, strategic planning and others, participating in various projects
- Continuous improvement activities like standardization and automation, introduction of new tools, etc.

**Your qualifications**
- Higher education in finance
- Several years of controlling expertise, ideally in a similar environment (energy industry experience ideal, but not required)
- Excellent analytical skills and good user skills with SAP CO, BW and BPC,.xls
- Curiosity and eagerness to partner with business stakeholders
- Great result orientation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, fluency in English required, any other language a plus
