**Key Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Manage day to day site operations including planning, coordinating, and reporting of all electrical construction activities.
- Overseeing an entire electrical scope to ensure project deadlines and requirements are met
- Management of the design process between Design Consultants and Building Contractors
- Provide technical expertise to solve technical and logístical issues.
- Track all project costs, including labour, materials, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.
- Management of Electrical Engineers, supervisors and sub-contractors
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Ensure project profitability
- Assist with Commissioning of the projects.

**Essential Criteria for the Role**:

- Good strong knowledge of the full design and construction process
- Ability to control and manage people and programs
- A trade background or a relevant third level qualification
- Proven record of co-ordination and managing large and/or intricate projects
- A minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Construction Manager
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
- Ability to drive construction progress.
