Computer Science is the science of representing and processing information, and it lies at the foundation of today's Information Age. By performing research in various ares in computer science, the Institute of Computer Science contributes to the development of one of the most important branches of science in the 21st century.
Positions
We have openings for 2 PhD positions in the areas of machine learning and computer vision. One position is on motion estimation (such as optical flow and structure from motion) via deep learning. The other position is on unsupervised learning methods with multiple modalities (eg, text, images, audio). Research will be performed in the Computer Vision Group at the University of Bern.
