**Regional Business Line Manager - Excitation Europe (80-100%)**:

In this role you will be responsible for Lead the Regional Excitation business in Europe with accountability for full P&L across the complete business value chain for profitable growth in alignment with the overall Business Line Strategy and People, Customer and Results focus.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Implements the business line strategy in the region and sets customer and market driven strategic direction for driving for profitable growth of the Excitation business. Additionally, ensures in the region competitive design and operation of the value chain/geographic footprint
- Runs the business end-to-end, i.e., front-end to back-end operations and is responsible for all day-to-day management decisions covering products, solutions, systems, and services within the Region and actively drive to reach 2030 Sustainability targets (own emission reduction, customer emission reduction, D&I) embedding sustainability in everything we do, everyday
- Responsible for establishing and achieving all financial and operational targets as set by the Business Line as well as setting project execution/operational targets in alignment with Business Line guidelines and ensuring these are achieved
- Ensures robust analysis of trends/changes in the market and customer dynamics and identifies opportunities for growth
- Ensures customer focused collaboration in conjunction with Group, Regional Account Management organization and empowers responsible regional and local managers to solve customer issues rapidly in the best overall interest of ABB and is accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders in the external business network delegating responsibility as appropriate
- Establishes and implements global standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution in collaboration with other Regional Business Lines, Hubs and in alignment with Business Line / Division guidelines
- Collaborates with other Regional Business Lines, Hubs and Division Functions of PAEN, other Divisions and Business area to secure best results for Energy Industries division and ABB overall while implementing best practices within the Regional Business
- Builds an effective, competent, and high performing organization by driving awareness for Diversity and Inclusion as well as allowing development within HR policies

**Your background**:

- 5-10+ years of experience in regional management role, profit & loss management in regional roles with successful prior functional leadership experience in Sales/Project Execution/Operations/Account Management and Service
- Thorough understanding of Excitation business and customer needs in the different segments, utilities, and industries
- Proven personal leadership in building and leading large teams, shaping collaborative, diverse and inclusive organizational culture with high strategic and results orientation
- Global mindset, intercultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills
- Solid English skills, German is a plus
